CAS Machine Can Accommodate 20 Tons of Chilli and Onion

Jakarta Provincial Government finalized the plan to buy 2 units of Controlled Atmosphere Storage (CAS) with capacity 20 tons per unit. Later on, this machine will be located at Kramat Jati Central Market, East Jakarta.
With this automatic machine, we already reserved onion stock and can be kept in City.
PD. Pasar Jaya President Director, Arief Nasrudin, said that machine is planned to store onions and chilies stock when supply and price of those two commodities are not stable.
"Inside CAS machine, onion can be kept in fresh condition for six months, while chili for 3 months," he said at City Hall, Monday (3/13).

"With this automatic machine, we already reserved onion stock and can be kept in City. Thus we want to place this machine in central market soon," he closed.
