Priok Toll Access Project Compensation Money Leave to Court

The compensation payment of Priok Toll Access (ATP) construction project to 39 building owners in 44 land lots in Koja Urban Village, Koja Sub-District, North Jakarta, is slow progressed. If the residents still not take their compensation money until today, Friday (6/6), North Jakarta Land Procurement Committee (P2T) will leave it (consignation) to North Jakarta State Court.

But until now, nobody took the compensation money. If it still not being taken until tomorrow, we will leave it to the state court

From 11.58 kilometers total length of ATP project, it remains 44 land lots in Koja Urban Village, Koja Sub-District, and 11 land lots in Kalibaru Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-District, with 4,000 meters of total space. The budget for 11 land lots was already consigned to the state court since April.

Land Acquisition for Priok Toll Road Project Stagnated

North Jakarta City Secretary, who is also North Jakarta P2T Team Leader, Junaedi, said that his party is always communicating with Koja residents, including holding meetings. From those meetings, residents’ representatives have agreed with the price and conditions set by Jakarta Housing and Government’s Building Department.

But until now, nobody took the compensation money. If it still not being taken until tomorrow, we will leave it to the state court,” he stated, Thursday (6/5).

According to Junaedi, his party has asked for decree of land usage for public needs to Jakarta Provincial Government. This is because based on Presidential Decree No. 71/2012 about Land Procurement Procedures for Public Needs, the land that consigned can be worked on for ATP project after the letter is released.

“We have proposed for suggestion to Jakarta Provincial Government since last week. If the governor had signed it, the work on consigned land can be continued,” he uttered.
