Start next June 5th, container truck that contained above 10 tons is forbidden to cross Wiyoto Wiyono inner city toll road. It is feared if the heavy vehicle keep crossing, it will cause toll flyover road construction broken. This is a follow up of Transportation Minster Policy Number 14/2007 about container vehicles on the road.

From toll road operator’s data, PT Cipta Marga Nusaphala Persada, there are 250 to 280 vehicles crossing the road everyday. 40 thousands vehicles among it are container trucks. And the container trucks are assessed have weight above 10 tons.
North Jakarta Transportation Sub-Dept Head, Arifin Hamonangan explained, he will conduct strict sanction to container trucks above 10 tons that crossing two Wiyoto Wiyono toll roads. There are Cawang to Tanjung Priok toll road for 15 kilometers and Plumpang to Jembatan Tiga toll road for 15 kilometers.

Hamonangan explained, the implementation of Transportation Minister Regulation is considering outer circle toll road that still in construction phase. But, coincident with the finishing of some Cilincing JORR toll road, heavy vehicles could cross as an alternative access to Tanjung Priok port.
Operational Manager and Service of PT Cipta Marga Nusaphala Persada, Bagus Medi Suarso, guessed most of container trucks crossing Wiyoto Wiyono toll road have over weight.
"The road repair should be conducted once in 5 or 6 years, but it changed since the over weight trucks often ignored the regulation," he said.
