East Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept. is going to re-record the birth certificate ownership listed in database. It will be conducted along with schools, especially under Ministry of Religious.

Sukma Wijaya, Head of East Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept. said many residents do not have birth certificate, whereas they have been recorded in database.

He expressed it will be conducted through jemput bola system by involving schools, starting from elementary-senior high school.
"If one student has no birth certificate, we will serve him/her," he expressed.
From total 950,000 children in East Jakarta, 45 percent of them have been listed in database.
"The database is based on certificate printing over 2013. Under that year, many have not been listed," he stated.
