Karang Anyar Flat will Be Revitalized Soon

Planning has been set, and about budget nominal and so on are still being studied and processed in the dept. Here, we plan to build a 16-story flat tower

Central Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Sub-dept. is about to revitalize the Karang Anyar Flat Tower, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta in the near future. Prior to revitalization, it should go through study and budget application first.

"Planning has been set, and about budget nominal and so on are still being studied and processed in the dept. Here, we plan to build a 16-story flat tower," expressed Edy Suryaman, Head of Central Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Sub-dept., Monday (3/20).

Karang Anyar Flat Occupants will Be Relocated to Tambora Flat

He assessed it is a must, as the tower condition is alarming. It can be seen from the unoptimal drains because it has been operated since 1980.

"The tower itself has six blocks with 358 units. To accommodate more people, the 16-story tower will be built," he stated.

Formerly the revitalization was requested by all elements. One of them is Chairman of Jakarta DPRD, Presetio Edi Marsudi in Central Jakarta Musrenbang on Wednesday (3/15).
