Muara Angke Pier Area will Be Arranged in 2018

Muara Angke Pier area, Penjaringan Sub-district, North Jakarta, will be arranged in 2018 by applying the concept of integrity and harmony.

Next year, Muara Angke Pier area arrangement will be started

City Secretary, Saefullah said Regional Development Planning Board (Bappeda) will act as leading sector for area arrangement.

"This is important thus area arrangement can apply integrated management," he said at City Hall, Monday (4/2).

Council Hopes Muara Angke Managed by City Immediately

He explained, Muara Angke pier will be the best pier to accommodate visitors with Seribu Islands as their destination.This pier is also planned to serve passenger with another destination such as Surabaya, Lampung, and Palembang.

"Next year, Muara Angke Pier area arrangement will be started," he expressed.

Meanwhile, City Transportation Dept. Head, Andri Yansyah said his side just finished the study related to Muara Angke Pier.

According to him, in accordance to operational procedure standard (SOP), there must be a separation between goods ship and passenger transport ship.

"Principally, we are ready if there is any authority delegation from Ministry of Transportation and General Director of Sea," he closed.
