KUKMP Dept.'s Three Fostering Locations will Be Renovated

As many as three vendors fostering locations (Lokbin) in Jakarta will be renovated this year. To renovate the three of them, Jakarta Provincial Government prepared budget up to Rp 7 billions.

In Kamal there are 180 vendors, in Pasar Minggu 150 vendors, and Lorong 103 there are about 170 vendors

Jakarta Small Medium Enterprise Cooperative and Trade (KUKMP) Dept. Head, Irwandi, said those three fostering locations that will be renovated are Lokbin Kamal, Lorong 103 Koja, and Pasar Minggu.

"In Kamal there are 180 vendors, in Pasar Minggu 150 vendors, and Lorong 103 there are about 170 vendors. Included vendor's zoning will be arranged," he said, Thursday (4/6).

He added that the recent progress of renovation program is already in auction process. Hopefully, auction process will finish soon and the construction can be finished on time which is in the end of 2017.

Besides Lokbin, there are 25 vendor temporary locations (Loksem) that also will be renovated this year. But for Loksem renovation, he said that his side is collaborating with private company through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
