94,368 Lamps will Be Replaced with LED

94,368 lamps in the capital will be replaced with light emitting diode (LED) in the near future.
This year we will replace streetlight in June and will be completed in December,
Jakarta Industry and Energy Agency's city lighting Section Head, Syamsul Bakhri said lamps that will be replaced consist of 40, 90, 120 and 200 watts. They consist of 50,178 (40 watts), 36,137 (90 watts), 4,871 (120 watts) and 3,182 (200 watts).
"Then for LED installation in 2015-2016, as many as 90,617 lamps have been replaced," he stated, Friday (4/14).
He explains the all lamps will be installed to neighborhood roads, connecting roads and protocol roads in some cities. In details, 36,583 units will be installed in East Jakarta, 40,557 units in West Jakarta and 17,228 units in North Jakarta.
"This year we will replace lamps in June and will be completed in December," he finished.
