Water Channel Constructed at Jalan Lodan Raya

North Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. is making a water channel on Jalan Lodan Raya, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan. It is carried out to overcome inundation along the road when rain and tidal wave (rob) occurred.

North Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. Head, Herning Wahyuningsih disclosed the channel is made from Ancol towards Pasar Ikan, precisely in front of Lodan Store until Ancol River Bridge. It would have 1.80 meters width with 250 meters length and 1.20 meters depth.

It is mostly due to overflowing water of Ancol River.
"Hence we're targeting the channel to be finished in mid-May. Thus inundation can be anticipated," he closed.
