City Council Visited by Four Regional Legislatures

Dozens of council members from Central Sulawesi Province, Bali, Bungo Regency, and Palangkaraya, on Tuesday (4/18), conducting a work visit to City Council.

Development program designing in City Budget refers to Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD)

The four regional legislatures visit purpose is to have some feed backs related to legislative's duty and function, including City Budget making mechanism.

City Council's Honorary Vice Chairman, Syarifuddin answered, City Budget making and discussion still referring to applicable regulations.

Six Cities Hold Work Visit to Jakarta Council

"Development program designing in City Budget refers to Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD)," he said.

He explained predefined RPJMD will be drafted in Regional Working Plan (RKPD) which came from Rembuk RW (RW Conference) as the lowest level.

"RKPD making came from the lowest level which is Rembuk RW, next are musrenbang in urban village level, sub-district, city, and up to province level," he added.

City Budget making is also obtained from citizen aspiration which accepted by council member when recess, and then compiled by special committee, and convened by council.

"Next, meeting result will be submitted by council chairman to governor," he expressed.

He continued that besides the mechanism, development program cannot be included in City Budget making.
