BMKG: Beware of Heavy Rain With Lightning

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Board (BMKG) predicted light-moderate rain to pour Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi starting this afternoon to night.

"In the morning is partly sunny," said Hary T. Djatmiko, Head Division of BMKG's Public Relation, Wednesday (4/19).

Heavy Rain and Strong Wind Predicted to Occur in Jabodetabek

In the afternoon, light rain is predicted to pour East Jakarta, South Jakarta, and West Jakarta. While moderate rain is predicted to pour Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, Bogor, and Bekasi.

At night, light rain is predicted to pour all Jakarta's regions, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi. While moderate rain is predicted to pour Bogor. 

At dawn, Seribu Islands is predicted cloudy with a chance of light rain to pour.

"Beware of moderate rain to fall accompanied by lightning and strong wind at night in short duration. Especially in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, and Bogor between afternoon and night," he closed.

For information, Jakarta's temperature today could reach 23-32 Celcius degree with humidity around 60-95 percent and East-South wind velocity that could reach 05-27 kilometers per hour.
