Two School Buses Equipped With WiFi and CCTV

Jakarta Provincial Government plans to install WiFi and CCTV for 140 units of School Bus gradually.

This is a part of service improvement to the public

Currently, those already equipped in two school buses as trials.

"This WiFi installation as a result of collaboration with private side through CSR program. This is a part of service improvement to the public," said Mohammad Insaf, Head Unit of School Transportation Management (Upas) of Jakarta Transportation Dept., Thursday (4/20).

He added the WiFi capacity could reach to 3.2 Mbps. Inside of it, contains of Education and Upas programs contents. It also can access into social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Line, and Youtube.

"Web that contains of porn has been blocked. Currently, it is free to use WiFi, and not using password. But after trials end, WiFi will be completed with password," he explained.

CCTV is equipped with flexible monitor that can rotate 360 degrees. From this CCTV, numbers of student who ride the bus and their activities on the bus can be monitored. Even bus speed and bus routes can be controlled by officer.

"Using that V380 application, student's parents can monitoring directly through their smartphone to make sure their children are inside the bus or not," he closed.
