100 Personnel Alerted at Congestion-Prone Spots in S. Jakarta

To manage traffic flow on a long weekend holiday, 100 personnel under South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. have been alerted at 24 spots that prone to traffic congestion in South Jakarta.

We send two until three personnel in each spot today until Monday (4/22). They are divided into two shifts, morning and afternoon

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, Christianto expressed the 24 spots are Simpang Pancoran, Jalan Raya Ragunan, Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda, Jalan TB Simatupang and Kebayoran Lama Market.

"We send two until three personnel in each spot today until Monday (4/22). They are divided into two shifts, morning and afternoon. Other personnel are also alerted in shopping and tourism spots," he expressed, Saturday (4/22).

The personnel are instructed to always standby and alert in detecting congestion that will occur, especially the congestion due to accidents.

"They must act quickly to detect the causes of the congestion like accidents," he closed.
