The counter-exodus of Christmas and New Year holidays was seen at Gambir and Senen stations, Central Jakarta.
9,404 people at Gambir and 13,226 people at Senen stations
There were 22,630 passengers back to Jakarta from those two stations.
Senior Manager of Public Relation of PT KAI Daop 1, Sapto Hartoyo, said passenger numbers from Gambir and Senen stations are predicted to increase since Sunday (1/1).
73,071 Passengers Travelling from Gambir and Senen Train Stations“Up to 3.30 PM, total passengers were 22,630 people. 9,404 people at Gambir and 13,226 people at Senen stations,” he said, Monday (1/2).
He predicted that more passengers will come up to 12 AM since today is the last day of long weekend holiday.
“There were 38,669 people came yesterday. Today is predicted 40,369 people to come,” he closed.
