Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Department plans to replace the park bench's model and material thus its quality can last longer. It aims to anticipate the theft of iron buffer on park bench at several main streets in the capital.

As for the safe placement of benches such as in Petogongan Row Village, has been re-distributed. "It is impossible if people steal the bench considering we place it in citizen residential," he stated.

Based on the data of Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Department, until May, there have been more than 650 benches installed all over Jakarta. 340 out of them are installed along Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Jalan MH Thamrin until Jalan Merdeka Barat.
