Park Bench's Model and Material in Jakarta will Be Replaced

Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Department plans to replace the park bench's model and material thus its quality can last longer. It aims to anticipate the theft of iron buffer on park bench at several main streets in the capital.

"The bench placement is still being evaluated. Perhaps the bench's shape will be replaced into a polar made by concrete," expressed Head of Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Department, Nandar Sunandar, Monday (6/9).

Based on the data of Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Department, until May, there have been more than 650 benches installed all over Jakarta. 340 out of them are installed along Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Jalan MH Thamrin until Jalan Merdeka Barat.
