Jakarta Public Services Must Keep Being Improved

Advances in information technology (IT) must be able to be utilized to fix public service performance

City Secretary, Saefullah said, the public services that spread in Jakarta must be further improved, especially licensing. 

"Advances in information technology (IT) must be able to be utilized to fix public service performance," he disclosed, Tuesday (4/25). 

Regional Autonomy Day Is Momentum to Improve Performance

He added, the use of information and communication technology in terms of public service has been set in Act No. 23/2014 on Local Government.

"Local government should always take the initiative to manage public services in accordance with E-Government," he explained.

Currently, the Home Ministry is focused on development of Smart City program in order to encourage local governments in advancing E-Government about public services.

"Various programs are made to support performance of public service, business, investment and regional competitiveness," he uttered.
