January-April, City Tax Revenues Reached Rp 8.7 T

Along January-April 2017, Jakarta Tax and Regional Retribution Agency has absorbed more than Rp 8.7 trillion of tax.

January-April this year, we get Rp 8 trillion. We also target tax revenues by Rp 35 trillion

"January-April this year, we get Rp 8 trillion. We also target tax revenues by Rp 35 trillion," expressed Head of Jakarta Tax and Regional Retribution Agency, Edi Sumantri, after attending executive meeting at City Hall.

Sumantri said, the taxes are obtained from restaurant tax by Rp 875 billion, hotel tax Rp 488 billion, entertainment tax Rp 251 billion and billboard tax Rp 283 billion.

There are also parking tax by Rp 161 billion, cigarette tax Rp 190 billion, as well as land and building tax Rp 785 billion, motor vehicle tax Rp 2.4 billion and vehicle-ownership transfer fees (BBNKB) Rp 1.5 trillion.

"We also get the motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB) by Rp 395 billion, groundwater utilization (PAT) tax Rp 29 million, streetlight tax Rp 240 billion, as well as land and building acquisition tax (BPHTB) Rp 1.1 trillion," he stated.
