Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Husein Murad, encouraging Jakartans to be more wary of the recent extreme weather.

He disclosed, extreme weather marked by heavy rain and strong winds often makes fallen trees. Therefore, he appealed people to avoid taking shelter under the trees during cloudy or rainy days.

"Weather nowadays is indeed bad. Surely it triggers fallen trees, especially rain days," he expressed, Thursday (5/4).

He added his side would update weather information every hour via social media to the public.

"We already have weather warning, so we'll give up-to-date information every hour," he finished.
