Beware of Thunderstorm This Afternoon, BMKG Says

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Board (BMKG) predicted light moderate rain accompanied by thunder to occur in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) from this afternoon to night.

"The morning is cloudy, with a chance of light rain to fall Seribu Islands," said Hary T. Djatmiko, Head Division of BMKG's Public Relation, Thursday (5/5).

Rain Predicted will Fall Jabodetabek

In the afternoon, light rain will fall North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and West Jakarta. While moderate rain will fall South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Tangerang, Depok, Bekasi, and Bogor.

At night, light rain is predicted to fall all Jakarta regions and Tangerang. While moderate rain will fall Bekasi, Depok, Bogor. 

At dawn is predicted to be cloudy and light rain is predicted to fall Seribu Islands.

"Beware of thunderstorm with rain intensity around moderate to heavy especially in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, and Bogor between noon and afternoon," he closed.

Meanwhile, Jakarta's temperature for today could reach 23-33 Celsius degree with humidity around 60-95 percent and northeast-south wind velocity that could reach 05-25 kilometers per hour.
