Cilangkap Agrotourism Proposed to Provide Place for PKL

Cilangkap Agrotourism Park Area, Cipayung, East Jakarta, is proposed to provide place for street vendors (PKL)s thus not only as a tourism destination but also as culinary destination.

We hope management could provide a place to accommodate PKLs

Cipayung Sub-district Head, Iin Mutmainah said, will propose to the management to provide place for PKL. Especially for PKLs who are selling every Saturday and Sunday by 20-30 PKLs. Those PKL are selling in front of main gate to road side.

"We hope management could provide a place to accommodate PKLs to avoid them occupying the road. Certainly, the type of their goods must specifically for culinary," she said, Thursday (5/4).

She continued, her side will also coordinate with East Jakarta Small Medium Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) to help build tents for merchants.

Jakarta KPKP Dept.'s Plant Protection and Seeds Development Center Working Unit Head, Ali Nurdin said, it is department authority to provide land for PKL.

"That proposal should be submitted to the department because it is under the dept.'s authority," he closed.
