Revitalization of Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta, on segment 2 for football field will be started. Currently, the process has been entering preparation stage of cooperation agreements with third parties.

Jakarta Environment and Development Assistant, Gamal Sinurat said, Lapangan Banteng revitalization is divided into four segment. There are football field fencing, football field and sport facilities renovation, area arrangement and amphitheater building, and park arrangement.
"First segment has started using funds from Building Floor Coefficient (KLB) compensation. For segment 2 will be financed using funds from Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR)," he said, Friday (5/5).
Lapangan Banteng Revitalization BeginsAccording to him, CSR funds usage will be coordinated with Government Bureau and Jakarta Forestry Dept.
"We are targeting for segment 2 construction to be finished this year," he stated.
He added for segment 3, which is monument area and amphitheater construction, currently is still looking for its funding source.
"KLB compensation become one alternative. But we have to report it first to Jakarta Governor to have his approval," he closed.
