Muara Angke Port Revitalization will Start in 2018

Jakarta Transportation Dept. is targeting to revitalize the Muara Angke Port, Penjaringan, North Jakarta to be realized in 2018.

"We have prepared the administration and the regulation so far. Thus, next year, the project could run well," disclosed, Sigit Wijatmoko, Vice Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept. when being contacted on Tuesday (5/9).

Council Supports Project of Muara Angke Port Integrated Area

The harbor is one of the programs that become the priority scale of his staff.

"The project has been planned since 2006. This document can be data, to enter the next planning," he stated.

He uttered the revitalization concept that is in form of Port Masterplan has been entered into Jakarta Regional Development Planning Board (Bappeda). 

Regional working unit (SKPD) related with Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept., Jakarta Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Dept. is expected could synergy to succeed the program.

"It must be the same first among SKPDs," he said.
