Of 4,548 vehicles in North Jakarta and South Jakarta which took the emission test, 4,206 passed the test which conducted by Jakarta Environment Dept. Thus, 342 vehicles were suggested to have maintenance.

Environment Dept. Environmental Impact Control Division Environmental Pollution Handling Section Head, Agung Pujo Winarko said, emission test was held from May 2-4, 2017 in North Jakarta and South Jakarta. For three days, it was conducted in three different places.
He explained that for North Jakarta area, from total 2,247 vehicles which took emission test, 2,002 vehicles were passed and 245 did not pass. Those who did not pass the emission test consist of 23 gasoline vehicles and 222 diesel vehicles.2,243 Vehicles in South Jakarta Took Emission Test
Meanwhile in South Jakarta, from total 2,301 vehicles, 2,204 of it were passed. While other 97 vehicles which consist of 24 gasoline vehicles and 73 diesel vehicles did not pass.
"This activity is part of urban air quality evaluation. Vehicle which not pass the test will be directed to have maintenance," he closed.
