Jakarta Provincial Government through Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD), PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, is ready to supply 1,000 tons of egg from Blitar and Tangerang in order to prevent commodity rising price ahead of Ramadan.

"This action is taken thus mark-up in market is not too high because we already prepared the supply,' she said, Tuesday (5/16).
PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya President Director, Arief Prasetyo Adi added, commodity mark-up ahead of Ramadan and Eid is already become a trend. But, his side tries to suppress the mark-up thus not to high with sufficient stock supply.
"So, we already prepared, commodity price also has been agreed thus the prices hike is not too high," he said.
According to data from www.infopangan.jakarta.go.id, several commodity prices already hiked up. Such as chicken egg price in Sunter Podomoro Market hike around Rp 500. From Rp 22,500 per kilogram into Rp 23,000 on May 16.
Green cayenne pepper in Kramatjati Central Market on May 15 sold Rp 21,000 per kilogram, while on May 16 the price increased into Rp 22,000 per kilogram.
