Personnel Asked to Control Illegal Parking and PKL in Bundaran HI

City Council Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi asked related SKPD to control illegal parking and PKL in Bundaran HI area, especially at night.

PKLs are lined up and cars parking are untidy. Almost every night the condition is like that

"PKLs are lined up and cars parking are untidy. Almost every night the condition is like that," he said, Tuesday (5/16).

He explained the clutter happens from 9-10 P.M. Sometimes many visitors deliberately took pictures at Bundaran HI's fountain park by parking their vehicles on the right side of it.

"It is dangerous. Please called Dishub, Satpol PP, and Forestry Dept. to tighten its control again," he added.

Contacted separately, Transportation Dept. (Dishub) Deputy Head, Sigit Wijatmoko explained, working hours limitation of Dishub personnel to control the area becomes the chance for this disorder thing to be occurred.

"Of course it happened due to PKL. If there are no PKL in there, it is impossible for people to park their car in that area. There must be an activity is held in there," he expressed.

However, he stated will intensify the control which conducted by Jakarta Dishub personnel on duty.

"So, personnel on duty will conduct the controlling. Certainly, we will cooperate with Satpol PP considering there are PKL in the area," he closed.
