Jakarta Provincial Government has injected Rp 450 billion to add more green open spaces (RTH) in the capital this year. It is allocated to buy a land worth Rp 350 billion and a graveyard Rp 100 billion.

Jakarta Forestry Dept. Head, Djafar Muchlisin disclosed, fund prepared for RTH land procurement will be made easy thus purchase process could be flexible based on the existing land.
"Fund for additional RTH this year is Rp 450 billion. It's divided to park RTH by Rp 350 billion and cemetery RTH Rp 100 billion," he expressed, Wednesday (5/17).
Green Open Space in Kaijodo Must Be Supervised Every DayDjafar expressed, there have been seven locations proposed for RTH and is still being verified. After it is done, those seven lands could be bought based on taxable value of property (NJOP).
"There have been seven locations filed. And now it is being discussed and under verification of administrative data. We're targeting the budget that we have now can buy 20 hectares of land for RTH," he closed.
