Central Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-dept. is going to involve public figures to redevelop the reading park and the public library in an attempt to increase reading interest.
"To make it more active, there must be reading corner, reading park and public library. We try to revive the spirit of those who had declined," expressed Tanwil, Section Head of Library for Central Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-dept., at his office, Jalan Tanah Abang I, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (5/17).

"Not only the government, there must be the role of public. Hence, we try to involve public figure," he stated.
He explained reading interest movement through Public Reading Park (TBM) is in accordance with law mandate No. 43/2007 on Library.
