S. Jakarta Muspiko Destroys 9,279 Liquor Bottles

South Jakarta City Leaders Deliberation (Muspiko) destroyed 9,272 liquor bottles and 2,070 unlicensed drugs in South Jakarta Mapolres Metro's yard, Kebayoran Baru.

We will focus to conduct sudden inspection in prone areas

"Total liquor destroyed are 9,279 bottles, the result of operation from January to April," said Police Great Commissioner, Iwan Kurniawan, Head of South Jakarta Mapolres Metro, Tuesday (5/23).

According to him, this eradication as the real commitment of police and South Jakarta Administration in limiting illegal liquor distribution.

Liquor Supervision will Be Intensified Ahead of Ramadhan

"It is actually a sympathy operation, which the sanction is just warning and administration and also prohibiting to sell liquor again," he said.

Meanwhile South Jakarta Mayor, Tri Kurniadi added, his side will keep coordinating with police related to illegal liquor distribution.

Entertainment venues and stall that considered sell illegal liquor will be checked.

"We will focus to conduct sudden inspection in prone areas. The sudden inspection is in accordance to Regional Regulation No.6/2015 about Tourism," he closed.

He also suggesting nightly entertainment venues and sellers to always obey the rules.
