Citizen Asked to Take Their Printed e-ID Immediately

South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Sub-dept. asked citizen to take their printed e-ID card in each urban village immediately. As many as 31,127 e-ID blanks have been distributed to urban villages during 2017.

Citizen can take it just with carrying old ID or original Suket

"Until May 2017, 80 percent of citizen have not taking it yet in the nearest urban village," said Abdul Haris, Head of South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept., Monday (5/29).

He continued that to take e-ID, citizen just need to exchange it with their old ID or carrying original reference letter (Suket).

17-Year-Old Residents Must Have E-ID Card

"Citizen can take it just with carrying old ID or original Suket. We are working extra in serving citizen especially related to e-ID printing," he added.

According to him, his side is coordinating with urban village thus information can be delivered to citizen through RT/RW administrators to take it immediately.

"Ownership of this population document is really important and become the basic needs to take care of other documents. So, we urge citizen to take it right away," he closed.
