N. Jakarta Sudinhub Controlled 2,337 Vehicles

North Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Sudinhub) controlled 2,337 vehicles from May 1 until May 28, 2017.

Controlling is followed by ticketing/BAP, stop operation, towing, and flattening operation (remove tire valve)

North Jakarta Sudinhub Head, Benhard Hutajulu said, on the first week of May, 465 vehicles were controlled, 607 vehicles on second week, 731 vehicles on third week, and 534 vehicles on fourth week.

"Controlling is followed by ticketing/BAP, stopping operation, towing, and flattening operation (remove tire valve). Mostly, 880 vehicles were ticketed/BAP," he said, Monday (5/29).

He added these sanctions were given to provide deterrent effect thus they can be orderly in traffic. Especially not to park in illegal areas.

"For the next two days, socialization will be intensified as a preventive and persuasive wa y," he closed.
