Ahead of Homecoming, Illegal Terminal Controlling Intensified

Jakarta Transportation Dept. is about to intensively crack down on illegal terminals in the capital ahead of homecoming season. All AKAP buses are asked to enter the main terminal and additional terminal that have been prepared.

"We'll continue to control illegal terminal. It will be more intensive ahead of homecoming season," expressed Andri Yansyah, Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept., Monday (5/29).

Illegal Terminal Raid will Be Intensified Along Ramadhan

His dept. will decisively control AKAP buses that pick up and drop off the passenger outside the main terminal and additional terminal. If they break the rules, they will get warning until operation license revocation. 

"They will be ticketed if the license has been revoked repeatedly. They will be asked to use the existing main terminal," he stated. 

He added locals are also urged to use Pulogebang Terminal, Kalideres Terminal and Kampung Rambutan Terminal. Considering illegal terminal is always causing traffic jam. 

"We also prepare additional terminals, like Lebak Bulus, Pasar Minggu, Grogol, Muara Angke and Pinang Ranti," he closed.
