City Transportation Council Reviews Transjakarta Corridor 13 Flyover

City Transportation Council (DTKJ) conducted work visit to monitor readiness of Transjakarta bus corridor 13's flyover. Eventually, monitoring results would be analyzed and included in recommendation to related stakeholders.

Construction is good so far, but there are sharp turns and some places that need to be widened

DTKJ Chairman, Iskandar Abubakar disclosed, from monitoring process, there were found some parts of their concern. Such parts will be stacked to be analyzed and made into recommendations.

"Construction is good so far, but there are sharp turns and some places that need to be widened," he stated, Monday (6/12).

DTKJ Suggested the Use of Single Trip Public Transportation

In overall, turning point in Ciledug is the most concern. Its location is relatively far away and unsterile traffic becomes its own problem.

"When he goes down and arrive at Adam Malik Bus Stop, it needs a long time to turn again. Not efficient," he added.

In the meantime, Commission of DTKJ's Public Relation and Law, Damantoro added two lanes along the flyover is pretty adequate for handling emergency conditions.

"Around bus stop, there is also a preceded lane. Maybe, analysis results can already be recommendations next Monday," he closed.
