Basuki: PTSP Can Process Citizen's Land Certificate

Jakarta Provincial Government keeps developing the system of one-stop integrated service (PTSP). As planned, the system can also be used by Jakarta residents to process the land certificate.

Those who want to process the permit do not need to go to PTSP office

"People just come to the PTSP office to process the land certificate and then processed by our officers to be sent to the National Land Agency (BPN)," said Acting Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama, at City Hall, Thursday (6/12).

Basuki stated that PTSP system principle is simple. "If there is no online, all will be handled by our officers. Residents just come to the PTSP office by completing the entire application for a land certificate," he said. Furthermore, the officer will process the land certificate proposed by local citizens to local BPN office.

He asserted that if BPN reluctant to process the citizens' request through PTSP, his party will hold a press conference. "We will process proposal to the BPN and then I make a complete report. Actually, this is simple," said former regent of East Belitung.

He targets such service may be tested as soon as possible. "Hopefully, we can already test out the service next July," he said.

As known, on June 2014, urban village and sub-district offices in Jakarta will serve as the PTSP. Thus, those who want to process the permit do not need to go to teh PTSP office.
