Jakarta Fair 2017 Officially Opened

Acting Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, together with Trade Minister, Enggartiasto Lukita; and City Council Chairman, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi officially opened Jakarta Fair 2017 at JIExpo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

From Beritajakarta observation, Metro Jaya Police Chief, Irjen Mochamad Iriawan; Kodam Jaya Commander, TNI Mayor General Jaswandi; and PT. JIExpo Main Commissioner, Murdaya Poo also accompanied the three of them in inauguration ceremonial.

This inauguration became a part of event to celebrate Jakarta's 490th anniversary.

2017 Jakarta Fair Will Apply Non-Cash Transactions

Acting Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat said, Jakarta Fair celebration became the moment to realize Indonesian goals.

"The spirit is to achieve economical and political sovereignty. We are capable of self-reliance and have strong personality," he said, Wednesday (6/14) night.

He added, all the best products in culinary, fashion, to domestic industry can be found in Jakarta Fair. Thus Jakarta can be a role model for other regions as an economic booster in Indonesia.

"We hope, transaction value in Jakarta Fair could reach Rp 6.7 trillion this year," he closed.
