Jakarta's 490th Anniversary will Be Celebrated Without JNF

Jakarta Provincial Government ensured will not hold Jakarta Night Festival (JNF) on the eve of Jakarta's 490th Anniversary celebration as it coincides with the holy month of Ramadan.

He said several activities will be held to celebrate Jakarta's anniversary this month such as Jakarta's anniversary celebration, Jakarta Great Sale, Jakarta Fair, Promo Merdeka (Bazaar), Lebaran Betawi, and others.

"Many activities will be done from Jakarta's anniversary celebration on May 21 in Kalijodo. Each region also held their own celebration," she closed.

For information, JNF or known as night for young men, was held before celebrating Jakarta's anniversary. It was held along Jl. Jenderal Sudirman and Jl. MH. Thamrin. Various of entertainment stages were built to entertain citizen.
