Merchants in Meruya Ilir Lokbin Warned About Retribution

Dozens of merchants in Meruya Ilir fostered location (Lokbin) being warned by West Jakarta Small Medium Enterprise Cooperation and Trade (KUKMP) Sub-dept. for not paying retribution fee.

If they do not pay it off, then they will be exchanged with other merchants

West Jakarta KUKMP Sub-dept. Head, Nuraini Sylviana said, there are 35 from 253 merchants in that lokbin who have arrears retribution. Numbers of arrears are various, between Rp 800 thousand to Rp 2.1 million.

"Merchants are required to make statement letter to ensure they will pay arrears. If they do not pay it off, then they will be exchanged with other merchants," she said, Thursday (6/15).

Retribution from Fostered Merchants in W. Jakarta Reaches Rp 940 Million

She explained that Jakarta Provincial Government has facilitated merchants. Merchants were given legal space and just need to pay Rp 4 thousand per day for retribution fee.

"We will also schedule DKI Bank to be here to make it easier for merchant to deposit," she closed.
