We will continue to increase our socialization for individual and companies

Acting Central Jakarta BAZIS Head, Arifin Ali said, it was only collected for Rp 13.2 billion last year from target of Rp 15 billion. Thus in this year, the target is still the same.

"Last year, ZIS fundraising only collected 80 percent in average from sub-district and urban village levels," he said, Monday (6/19).

According to him, various efforts continue to be done in order to reach the target.

"We will continue to increase our socialization for individual and companies. The point is, we want to educate them that ZIS is not a levy, but obligation that has to be fulfilled," he explained.

His side, he continued, will also maximize Alms Service Unit (UPZ) by developing and disseminating charity box placement and MZH (calculation owned alms) blanks.

Moreover, civil servant (PNS) in Central Jakarta Administration and BUMD are urged to collect alms, such as their profession collection and others.

"Recent ZIS revenue which collected from PNS Regional Performance Allowance (TKD) is around Rp 4 billion. I optimist this year's target could be reached," he closed.
