PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) keeps preparing the construction of Intermediate Treatment Facilities (ITF) as waste processing facility in Sunter, North Jakarta.

She continued that her side also observes waste sampling from six TPS locations that will supply trash to ITF. Three are located in North Jakarta and another three in Central Jakarta. The purpose is to calculate the potential of produced waste variation.
"Based on study, the waste calorie reaches around 1,300 and could produce 35-40 megawatts. We are also informed that ITF is included in national strategic project," she explained.
Jakarta Environment Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji hopes ITF construction could be started in one or two months ahead.
