Central Jakarta will Hold Early Disease Detection Week

Central Jakarta Administration will hold early detection of communicable and non-communicable disease for a week, from July 10 to July 21, 2017.

I hope citizen and civil servants (PNS) could take advantage of this opportunity to do medical examination

This event will be held in all hospitals, health center (puskesmas) in sub-districts and urban villages in Central Jakarta.

Central Jakarta Health Service Unit Head, Laksmi Bana said, her side will measure weight, height, waist circumferences, body mass index, IVA test/papsmear, and clinical breast examination to detect any non-communicable disease.

Cervical Cancer Sufferers will Be Facilitated

"We will conduct tuberculosis screening, Hepatitis B examination for pregnant mothers, and HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) examination in order to detect any communicable disease," she mentioned, Friday (7/7).

According to her, this event is routinely conducted to prevent and anticipate the disease early.

"I hope citizen and civil servants (PNS) could take advantage of this opportunity to do medical examination," she closed.
