4 Government Buildings in North Jakarta Not Feasible

As a government’s spearhead, sub-district and urban village office should be built representatively and easily accessed for residents.

From 31 urban village office and 6 sub-districts office in North Jakarta, four of them are not feasible. The building is old, small, and often hit by tidal wave.

Those four buildings are Koja Urban Village office, Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village office and Kapuk Muara Urban Village office also Kelapa Gading Sub-District.

North Jakarta Head of Governance Management, Nana Hadiana, admitted that the buildings are not built in three stories. "In 2017, all governmental buildings to be built accordance to standard. We will renovate three urban village office this year," she stated, Saturday (6/14).

Hadiana continued that Kapuk Muara Urban Village office has feasible physic due to newly built in 1995. But, it often hit by tidal wave and gets inundated during rainy season. "Kelapa Gading sub-district office has good construction since it was built in 1991," she added.

The three buildings to be renovated are Koja Urban Village, Kapuk Muara, and Kelapagading Barat Urban Village. Each building costs Rp 7 billion.
