1,551 LED Streetlights Installed in East And North Jakarta

94,368 streetlights type light emitting diode (LED) will be installed at some points in North Jakarta, West Jakarta and East Jakarta.

Currently there have been 1,551 lamps installed at some points in East Jakarta and North Jakarta

Syamsul Bakhri, Section Head of City Lighting for Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept. said 94,368 streetlights that will be installed consist of 50,178 lamps (40 watts), 36,137 (90 watts), 4,871 lamps (120 watt) and 3,182 lamps (200 watt).

"Currently there have been 1,551 lamps installed at some points in East Jakarta and North Jakarta. We will finish it until December. Hopefully it could already be completed on time," he stated, Wednesday (7/12). 

Agus Mulyadi, Head of North Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-dept. expressed from 24,487 lamps planned, 895 streetlights have been installed.

"Since July 10, we've installed 895 streetlights with details 695 units powered 40 watts and 200 other units powered 90 watts," he explained.

In the meantime, Nur Hidayat, Head of East Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-dept. uttered 26,000 other streetlights will also be installed in East Jakarta this year. As the initial stage, it will be executed in Cipayung Sub-district.

"From 656 points, 631 units powered 25-90 watts have been installed. It has been done since July 10," he closed.
