To welcome city's 490th anniversary, as many as 20,000 decorative lamps will be installed in Central Jakarta.
Besides at City Hall and Jakarta DPRD Building, lamp installation is also slated at Central Jakarta Mayor office and around park on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan.
Simple Celebration for City's 490th AnniversaryCentral Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-dept., Iswandi disclosed, type of lamp will use Light Emitting Diode (LED) Strip Light and Meteor powered 20 watts.
"We will use LED lamp. It's very economical," he expressed, Thursday (6/8).
He explains its installation that has been done since early June 2017 is targeted to be completed in the upcoming Monday (6/12). It will be installed permanently thus can be switched on again at certain moments.
"As planned, one day after city's anniversary, the lamp will be turned off, and will be reused in other big events," he closed.
