50 Trees Planted Alongside Jalan Kamal Muara Raya

We do tree planting, as it is able to add aesthetics and also make the area greener, beautiful, shady, and serves as the lungs of the city

North Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. has planted 50 trees alongside Jalan Kamal Muara Raya, Kamak Muara Urban Village, Penjaringan Sub-district. Most trees planted are angsana and acacia.

"We do tree planting, as it is able to add aesthetics and also make the area greener, beautiful, shady, and serves as the lungs of the city," said Muhammad Iqbal, Head of North Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept., Thursday (7/13).

He expressed it is done by Kamal Muara Urban Village PPSU personnel and freelancers under North Jakarta Park Sub-dept.

He explains, all this time, the road looks barren and is often misused by PKL.

"After this, we hope local people can also participate in maintaining the trees in future," he hoped.
