Susukan Lokbin Renovation is Started

After being left since June 2015 due to fire incident, Susukan Fostered Location (Lokbin), Ciracas, East Jakarta is renovated. Later on, this Lokbin will accommodate 174 merchants.

Starting today, Susukan Lokbin will be renovated by private side through CSR program

"Starting today, Susukan Lokbin will be renovated by private side through CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program. Our prediction it will be finished around 3 months," said Fajar Sugiharto, Head of Ciracas Sub-district Small Medium Enterprises Cooperation and Trade (KUKMP), Monday (7/17).

According to him, this 2,300 square meters wide Lokbin will accommodate 174 merchants, consist of 40 fruit merchants, 30 culinary merchants, and the rest are non-culinary. Such as shoes, accessories, purse, handicraft, and others.

Merchants in Meruya Ilir Lokbin Warned About Retribution

East Jakarta KUKMP Sub-dept. Head, Syamsu Rizal predicted, around Rp 1.2 billion is needed for Susukan Lokbin renovation. All of it is supported by private side through CSR. Even there are maintenance period for two years after renovation is done.

"This is used to accommodate our fostered PKL and PKL that used to sell on the roadside of Jl. Raya Bogor. We will place them to Lokbin thus environment is neatly arranged," he closed.
