Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) has approved the request for the aid of a prisoner car proposed by the Prosecutors' Attorney (Kejari) in five areas of the capital.
As long as it doesn't break the rules, the council is ready to encourage the proposal into 2017 APBD-P
Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi said his party will encourage the request for assistance in the form of the grant to enter the 2017 Revised City Budget (APBD-P).

He stated, the council has received a letter requesting the assistance of four prisoner cars from Central Jakarta District Attorney's office.
Meanwhile, Jakarta DPRD Commission A Head, Riano P Ahmad revealed his party agreed to provide grant aid for four prisoner cars submitted by Central Jakarta Kejari.
"We also encourage Kejari in four other municipalities can apply similarly thus it can be discussed with its budgeting," he expressed.
Riano targets request for prisoners’ car proposed by Kejari in five areas could be realized within two weeks ahead.
Central Jakarta Kejari Public Criminal Section Head, Diana Wahyu Widianti admitted she proposed prisoner car to Jakarta DPRD due to inadequate operational fleet.
"There are totally seven prisoner cars belong to Central Jakarta, yet only three cars are operating," he closed.
