Council and PT. MRT Discussed About MRT Infrastructur Additional Funds

City Council held meeting with PT. Mass Rapid Transit to discuss about additional funds of MRT Phase 1 (Lebak Bulus-Bundaran HI) project infrastructure work as much as Rp 2.5 trillion.

We need to prepare it since there is Rp 2.5 trillion shortfall

City Council Vice Chairman, Mohamad Taufik said, council recommendation is needed to realize additional funds of MRT phase 1 project.

"We need to prepare it since there is Rp 2.5 trillion shortfall. MRT project will not run if we do not," he said at Council Building on 3rd floor, Wednesday (7/12).

At the same place, PT. MRT Jakarta Financial Director, Tuhiyat explained, PT. MRT project needs are mount up due to structure changing that must be adjusted to the newest earthquake regulation. His side must strengthen the underground and elevated MRT construction again.

"We affirmed, it is not the design, but its construction that changed," he closed.
