PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) targets 20 medium buses as the result of leasing cooperation with one of national syariah banks can be operated in August.

PT. Transjakarta President Director, Budi Kaliwono said, from total budget for 50 buses prepared by the bank side, 20 buses have been processed.

"At least we will inaugurate its operation in early August. We will inform its route at launching since we are still preparing it," he said, Tuesday (7/18).

Transjakarta Service and Business Development Director, Welfizon added, currently there are 56 bus purchase financing applications.

Later on, its installment will be cut through rupiah per kilometer payment system automatically. Thus, each vehicle is targeted to take 150 kilometers plus 20 empty kilometers.

"Bank will be safer relatively because there is installment guarantee. It is not the partner who pay it to bank, but we pay them directly," he closed.
