Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) ensures their plan to recruit Metromini drivers after cooperation between the bus businessman with PT. Transjakarta.

Jakarta Dishub Head, Andri Yansyah said, this cooperation will not disadvantage to any sides. Even the existing drivers will still be employed.

"We will recruit the drivers again. It is a must. Since it is not easy to find a driver," he expressed at City Hall, Tuesday (7/18).

Though, he continued, Metromini drivers must be trained first to get certification. Because, after they join PT. Transjakarta, they will get salary twice from Provincial Minimum Salary (UMP).

"They will be educated first in order to get certificate. We will pay them twice from UMP later," he said.

He informed that his side will need many drivers to operate Minitrans as the result of cooperation between Metromini and PT. Transjakarta.

"Previously, there is one driver for one vehicle in average. If it is combined, at least needs two drivers," he closed.
