UCLG Workshop Recommendation Becomes Input For Kota Tua Development

Recommendation of workshop result from United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific (UCLG-ASPAC) with theme The Regional Peer-Learning and Action Planning Workshop Urban Renewal in Historic Town Centre (the case of Kota Tua in Jakarta) and Public Space Improvement in Jakarta, will be an input for the development of the Kota Tua.

The good input will be used in discussing and developing the Kota Tua development strategy,

Jakarta Development Planning Board (Bappeda) Head, Tuty Kusumawati disclosed, the UCLG-ASPAC is an association of cities and governments around the world that are actively assisting to improve the capacity of Jakarta Provincial Government officials in formulating strategies for various matters.

UCLG-ASPAC Participants Visited Kota Tua & Kalijodo RPTRAs

"This time, they hold workshop about the case of Kota Tua. That is how to make Kota Tua as World Heritage," she stated, Wednesday (7/19).

She hopes workshop held since Monday (7/17) until Wednesday (7/19) could be recommended in the policy and implementation of Kota Tua development in order to enter the World Heritage UNESCO.

"Its recommendation is very valuable. The good input will be used in discussing and developing the Kota Tua development strategy," he closed.
