Council Supports Duren Sawit RSKD Development

City Council Commission E supports Duren Sawit Public Mental Asylum (RSKD) development plan to start in 2018 in East Jakarta.

According to plan, Duren Sawit RSKD's new health facility building construction that budgeted around Rp 195.42 billion will be finished in 2019.

"We support Duren Sawit RSKD development plan to fulfill health service needs in City," said Asraf Ali, Vice Chairman Commission E of City Council when visited the location, Thursday (7/27).

City Council Commission E Secretary, Veri Yonevil said, the 10-floors health facility is budgeted Rp 195.42 billion and proposed for two years at first. But his side hopes it could be realized into one year.

He considered all Duren Sawit RSKD construction can finish in the end of 2018, same as Tarakan RSUD Sky Hospital construction.

"Land procurement and Amdal are done. Thus if auction can be started in December 2017 and  groundbreaking in February 2018, it can be finished in the end of 2018," he added.

Regarding to that, Duren Sawit RSKD Director, Julagan explained, its construction is planned by his side and Jakarta Bappeda.

"Not only its building, but we also prepare its additional facilities on vacant land that already submitted to us. So, we cannot realize its construction in one year," he closed.
